Game Night, March 18, 2022
The church held a game night for grown-ups on March 18, 2022. The event was a blast, with many games played and many snacks eaten! Karen coordinated a “Pass the Pigs” tournament, and Jill and Maija played the final round with a set of giant pigs. In the end, Maija brought home the bacon (literally) and the whole group is looking forward to the next get-together!
Pastor Nat’s Installation Service
Everyone is invited to the installation service for Pastor Nathaniel Erickson, which will take place on Saturday, March 27 at 6 PM at First Baptist Church. The event will also be streamed on the church’s YouTube page, which is accessible through our Livestreaming Page.
UP Bible Camp
Today, Mr. Jeremy Wright joined us to talk about UP Bible Camp and its offerings. UP Bible Camp is a camp that our church supports, and some of our youth have attended in the past. It has offerings for all ages and at many different times of the year. To find out more, visit one of the links below:

Christmas Caroling!
We had a great group of carolers who went caroling on Dec. 18. There were 19 carolers who visited 9 homes and spread 100% joy!
Christmas Eve Service
FBC will be holding a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 8 PM on December 24. Please join us for music and scripture readings to celebrate the coming of Christ!
Our New Pastor
We are excited to have extended a call to Rev. Nathaniel Erickson to be our next pastor, and that he has accepted our offer! Pastor Nat’s first Sunday will be January 23, 2022.
Caroling, December 18
The deacons are organizing caroling, to take place on December 18. We will meet at the church at 6 PM and then travel to houses to carol for those who request caroling, or who have been recommended. If you would be interested in caroling, or if you’d like to have us stop at your house (or if you can suggest a person for us to visit), contact the church office.
To visit a house, we need a name, address, and phone number. We will use that information to contact the person and confirm that they will be around for a visit that night.
